The Adviser-on-Call is best for brief questions and clarification before you are notified about your Assigned Summer Adviser. Be sure to identify yourself as an incoming student when you contact us!

For July 2 - August 1, schedule your required appointment with your Assigned Summer Adviser. Continue to contact your Assigned Summer Adviser with questions through August 30.

Thirty-minute appointments for incoming students are available starting Tuesday, July 2 and will run throughout the summer. Scheduling for required summer conferences will open in late June; you will receive an email notifying you when you may begin scheduling appointments with your Assigned Summer Adviser. If you are near campus, you're welcome to come in person; otherwise, we're happy to speak with you by phone or another alternative, if needed. All incoming students must have a meeting with their Assigned Summer Adviser before 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 1 in order to participate in Pre-Registration.

To schedule: Visit collegescheduling.uchicago.edu and login with your CNetID. You'll need to request a meeting format for your appointment. If you prefer a phone meeting, please include the best number to reach you in your appointment request. If you prefer a Skype meeting, please include your Skype name in your appointment request. Appointments are typically available between 8:00 am and 4:30 CDT.

Starting September 3, email your College Adviser with any questions

By September 3rd, you'll receive an email in your portal from your College Adviser who you'll be working with during the academic year. While College Advisers are busy getting ready for Orientation and the upcoming school year and thus don't have open appointments, they're happy to answer your questions via email or phone during those last few weeks of summer. That said, there will also be plenty of time to talk with your College Adviser once you get to campus during O-Week, and you'll have several required meetings with your College Adviser throughout your first year to discuss your future plans.
